Powering Privacy with Predicate

Permissionless blockchains are transparent by nature, but global adoption requires privacy over one’s financial history given its sensitive nature — for both retail and institutional users. The Predicate Network enables developers to integrate transaction prerequisites into their application through a modular approach. It is designed to be transparent, verifiable, and open. Any entity — whether an individual, organization, or DAO — can create, manage, and own their prerequisites through Predicate. INTMAX is working with Predicate to build and enforce policies at the smart contact level for the bridge from Ethereum to the INTMAX L2. The Predicate Network is used to set pre-transaction rules that prevent assets originating from high-risk addresses such as those associated with sanctions, child sexual abuse, human trafficking, terrorist financing, and onchain exploits.

To identify these addresses, the Predicate Network leverages offchain data providers like TRM. While offchain risk score providers function as centralized entities, the Predicate Network itself is trust-minimized by leveraging a distributed operator network, powered by EigenLayer. INTMAX retains control over the policy and the ability to change data sources as needed via the Predicate Network. The operators reference the policy and issue signatures for each transaction. Signature issuance is deterministic, and any bridging attempt without a valid Predicate signature is automatically rejected.
